| Description: | Participants will: Implement activity-based music and movement experiences related to children's language, literacy, mathematics, cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. Define terms related to language, literacy, mathematics, cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development Explore how music/rhythm relates to language, literacy, mathematics, cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development Describe how music/rhythm relates to language, literacy, mathematics, cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development ****Please Note**** This class offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for those who register and complete the required components. CEU Requirements: Full Attendance: Participants must be present for the entire duration of the learning event. - Arrive on time and remain until the session concludes. - For multi-day or multi-session events, attend all scheduled components. - Sign in and out (in-person) or remain logged in for the full session (virtual). - Breaks and lunch periods do not count toward instructional time. Active Participation: Participants must engage meaningfully in the learning experience. - Contribute to discussions, group work, and activities. - Respond to prompts, polls, or questions during the session. - Complete in-session tasks such as worksheets, planning templates, or reflections. - Demonstrate engagement through verbal, written, or interactive responses. Completion of Post-Training CEU Application or Assessment: Participants must complete a formal process to confirm their learning and request CEUs. - Submit the CEU Application Form provided at the end of the training. - Complete any required post-assessment, reflection, or evaluation. - Confirm understanding of learning outcomes and acknowledge participation. Partial completion of any requirement will result in ineligibility for CEUs. CEU certificates are issued within 10 business days after verification. All documentation is retained for 7 years in accordance with IACET standards |
